Precepto 127
La ofrenda del pecador
No poner incienso en la ofrenda del pecador — no poner incienso en esta ofrenda que mencionamos, la del pecador pobre, según está dicho: «y no pondrá sobre ella incienso» (Vaicrá 5:11). Y en palabras de la Mishná (Menajot 59b): «Es responsable por el aceite por sí mismo y por el incienso por sí mismo», pues son, sin duda, dos prohibiciones distintas.
Todo el asunto del incienso es como el asunto del aceite que ya escribimos (precepto 125) — no hay por qué extenderse en ello.
שֶׁלֹּא לָתֵת לְבוֹנָה בְּמִנְחַת חוֹטֵא – שֶׁלֹּא לָתֵת לְבוֹנָה בְּמִנְחָה זוֹ שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ שֶׁל חוֹטֵא עָנִי, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ויקרא ה יא) וְלֹא יִתֵּן עָלֶיהָ לְבֹנָה. וּלְשׁוֹן הַמִּשְׁנָה (מנחות נט ב) וְחַיָּב עַל הַשֶּׁמֶן בִּפְנֵי עַצְמוֹ וְעַל הַלְּבוֹנָה בִּפְנֵי עַצְמָהּ, לְפִי שֶׁהֵן שְׁנֵי לָאוִין בְּלִי סָפֵק. כָּל עִנְיָן הַלְּבוֹנָה כְּעִנְיַן הַשֶּׁמֶן שֶׁכָּתַבְנוּ, (מצוה קכה) אֵין לְהַאֲרִיךְ בּוֹ.
